Wow, another nice weekend!

 

I think this weekend was the best weekend weather wise we have had all Summer so far. All the nice weather got me thinking about the beach so I did the page below with photos from last Summer in Stone Harbor. I have also been taking an online Photoshop Elements photo editing course and wanted to play with some of the techniques so I made the Chimney Corners Camp opening day layout above. I already posted the photo, but enjoyed writing some thoughts down about the day itself.
I enjoyed the nice weather outside too and practiced setting up my new tent to use next weekend at Mom's Weekend. I drive up to camp on Friday to spent two days and nights camping out with Emma and seeing what she has been up too. It was fun last year, but there was no "down" time so I am resting up in preparation. Today we attended the baptism of the daughter of some close friends and they had a lovely reception at their home afterwards. It was just so sublime sitting in their backyard with the breeze blowing and the sun shining while we admired little Teresa.
